Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.
  • The text has not been previously published or submitted to another journal (or an explanation has been given in the Comments to the Editor);
  • Where available, the URL for the bibliographical references have been provided;
  • The file has been submitted in OpenOffice, Word or RTF format;
  • The text fulfils the requirements described in the guidelines for authors

Author Guidelines

 

The texts must be submitted in the platform http://e-lcv.online/index.php/revista/about/submissions. For this purpose, the authors should follow the following steps:

1) Register at http://www.e-lcv.online/index.php/revista/user/register.

2) Once the registration has been completed, the user should log in to the journal portal at http://www.e-lcv.online/index.php/revista/login.

Registration in the system and subsequent access, through login and password, are mandatory for the submission of works, as well as for monitoring the ongoing editorial process.

3) After accessing the journal portal, the user must click the SUBMISSIONS button and then NEW SUBMISSION.

4) Then the form fields should be filled:

a) select the section of the journal in which to submit the article; provide some comments to the editor, if relevant;
b) upload the document;
c) include metadata (title and subtitle; abstract; author and keywords);
d) finally, complete the submission.

Authors remain the copyrights holders and grant third parties the right to use, reproduce, and share the articles, according to the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International License (CC BY 4.0). The journal is also freely available at Repositório Aberto (Open University, Portugal) and RCAAP (Open Access Scientific Repositories of Portugal). We encourage authors to self-archive their published articles in the repositories of their institutions.
